Vintage Guitar Magazine back issues now available

Today I added lots of old copies of the American magazine, Vintage Guitar.

This magazine is stuffed full of information on old guitars, tech tips, product reviews and interviews with famous guitarists. They were never easily available in the UK, but I managed to root out a pile or two.

I have spent the afternoon going through shelves of old car magazines, and I’ve now added 14 issues of Practical Classics from the late 90s and early 2000s.

Woman’s Journal back issues now added too!

As the last update of the year, I have just added a selection of old issues of Woman’s Journal, from 1957 to 1967.

They are all in good condition, and more will be added later.

Old copies of Woman’s Own now available

Recently I acquired a mass of old magazines from the 1950′s and 1960′s, the first of which are getting listed now.

I am beginning with back issues of Woman’s Own from 1958 onwards, then once they are all listed I’ll be adding issues of Woman, Woman’s Realm, Woman’s Weekly, Ideal Home, The Housewife, Smallholder, and many many others.

Guitar Techniques back issues now added

Today I have started listing old issues of the British Guitar magazine, Guitar Techniques. These magazines are packed full of song tabs and lessons, and almost all have the original CD with them which includes the backing tracks and tutorials for all the lessons in the magazine.

So far I have listed issues from 1994, 1995 and 1996. I will be adding almost every issue from 1997 and also later years.

Model Engineer 2002 Issues Added

I added a whole lot of Model Engineer issues today from the year 2002. Almost all the Model Engineer magazines are listed now, all that remains are the issues from 1955, which I will get around to soon.

Next to be added will be some more old copies of Classic Cars, then many, many issues of the guitar lesson magazine Guitar Techniques, all with the backing tracks CDs included.

Classic and Sports Car Magazines now added

Today I’ve begun adding the pile of British Classic and Sports Car magazines from the year 1997 onwards. Our stocks are rising everyday, but it takes us time to get all the mags photographed, cropped and the descriptions written, so adding them to the shop is taking a while.

This week I’ve picked up another 10 boxes of music magazines from a guitarist friend who is having a clear out. We now have loads more issues of Q, Mojo, Uncut and lots more guitar mags from years gone by.

My aim is to add at least 5 new magazines a day..lets see how long I can keep it up!

Back issues of Classic Cars Magazine now listed

Today we have listed many back issues of the UK magazine, Classic Cars from the years 1998, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 2008, 2009 and 2010.

All the mags are in great condition and UK buyers can also benefit from free postage!

New additions, Monday Oct 18th

Over the weekend we added another 25 issues of Model Engineer Magazine, mostly from 1989.

This morning new back issues have been added to the Mercedes Enthusiast and Jaguar World sections, and a new section has been created for Octane Magazine, including the very first issue from July 2003 (now sold).

The final Model Engineers will go in next, mostly from the early ’00s and there is also a big pile (almost every issue) from 1955 waiting patiently in the corner!
